Жіноча тенісна асоціація(WTA) опублікувала заяву з приводу відмови українських тенісисток потискати руки суперницям із Росії і Білорусі.
“Після прикрих обставин і непорозумінь у вчорашньому матчі на Вімблдоні (разом з іншими матчами за останні кілька тижнів), WTA хотіла б надати ясності з приводу післяматчевих рукостискань.
У зв’язку з триваючою ганебною війною WTA поважає позицію українських спортсменок щодо відмови від традиції рукостискання з суперницями (з Росії та Білорусі) наприкінці матчу, оскільки це особисте рішення.
